Moruya’s Michael Weyman will make his representative debut for Country Origin against City Origin this Friday at Orange, marking a dramatic change in fortunes for him since donning the red and white of St George-Illawarra in 2009.

Weyman is already at the Country camp in Orange, preparing for the match.
“It’s been good, and it’s an honour,” he said.
At this stage, Weyman is the starting prop, and he is enjoying the company of his team mates.
“It’s been a good start because we are all on the same page and they are a decent bunch of blokes,” he said.
Weyman is enjoying his best ever season, and says some credit has to go to coach Wayne Bennett.
“I suppose that has a fair bit to do with it,” he said.
“The main thing is that I am enjoying my footy.”
Weyman said the Dragons’ gritty 12-11 win over the New Zealand Warriors showed the mettle of the team in 2009.
“We showed that we were 17 blokes willing to work together, that we are a unit.”
