A record field of 179 men and women took part in the event. This is the biggest number of players seen at the club on a Saturday in many years.

The support of this event demonstrates the kindness and goodwill of the members and visitors, who contributed to this day. It is a credit to the organising committee consisting of Marie McNeil, Ray Carnall and helped along by the enthusiastic support of club professional Darren Golder.

The Moruya Women Golfers made an excellent contribution to the success of the day by decorating the clubhouse and the course in pink. Many of the players got with the theme of the charity by wearing pink and some even had their hair coloured in pink.

The prize for the most appropriate outfits, which focused on the charity, went to Anna and Ian Stewart and Carol and Michelle Marsden.

Members and supporters donated raffle prizes and the Kookaburra Junior Members made the day complete by feeding the players with a barbecue lunch.
