Both sides are coming off very impressive wins on the weekend, and should both be at or near full strength for the match.
Tigers captain Paul Gallen, who hit an unbeaten 71 in his team’s solid win against Bermagui at Bermagui last Saturday, agrees that the game deserves match-of-the-season status.
“For sure,” he said.
“I’m happy with our form, and I’m happy we’re going to have a decent side because we have been a bit understrength lately.”
The side which beat Bermagui contained many B-grade players, but key players Luke Bell, Gavin Hamill, Mick Smart, Matt Hancock and Nathan Wood will return to the side tomorrow.
Despite Cavaliers’ success this season and their win over Tigers the last time the sides met on the new Hanging Rock pitch, Gallen believes his side is capable of upsetting them.
“We’re expecting nothing different from them,” he said.
“They’re very beatable though.”
Broulee will get the chance to get back some confidence with the bat when they take on Dalmeny at Dalmeny, while Tuross Head have a good chance to score back-to-back wins when they host Bermagui at Kyla Oval.
