Man busted growing 117 cannabis plants

A 62-year-old Rosedale man was has been arrested after police found 117 cannabis plants on his property.

Police from the Far South Coast Target Action Group found the plants yesterday, which they said was worth about $117,000.

The man was charged with cultivating prohibited plants, self administering a prohibited drug and possessing a prohibited drug.

He will appear at Batemans Bay Local Court on February 27.
